Journalism is the foundation of TFF. It consists of 2 areas: articles and forums. This is where students begin to enhance their knowledge of the markets/news, and share their thoughts with other students. No prior experience is necessary for students to write articles, since all content is edited by our team, before being published. The forums are an open discussion on the most popular and recent topics.
This is where TFF members can share their thoughts, by writing an article on something that interests them. You can choose any topic from the following 6 categories: Companies, Global Economy, Law/Politics, Markets, Stocks/Shares, and Technology.
Don't worry about creating a perfect article, since all work will be edited by the TFF Editorial team, before being published on the website. If you need help in getting started, have a read over the current articles that are published - and you can always send us a message with any questions.
Why write articles? Brilliant opportunity to showcase your Financial aptitude, gain recognition (our articles receive 100's of views), it gives you something to talk about during interviews or to prove your interest in a specific area, and you also earn TFF points (to work up the ranks, towards a more prestigious title for your CV/LinkedIn profile).
Following on from TFF Articles, the TFF Forums provide a platform for our members to engage in discussion on current affairs and other popular subjects. Members can discuss in the pre-defined topic areas, but are more than welcome to create new discussions.
We also have forums for careers and internships advice, which are actively updated by our partner firms. This provides our members with exclusive information from specialist student-focused institutions, who often post about application advice and unique opportunities from sponsor organisations.
Why discuss in forums? Brilliant opportunity to debate, test your perspective, interact with like-minded students, and you also earn TFF points (to work up the ranks, towards a more prestigious title for your CV/LinkedIn profile).
